Virginia DE on the verge of unofficial visits

Defensive end William Hill out of Williamsburg (Va.) Lafayette continues to hold two scholarships. The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder could be on the verge of gaining more offers as he plans to take some unofficials in the near future.
"I have offers from Maryland and Virginia," he said. "I've been in touch with Virginia Tech, Connecticut, Illinois, East Carolina and Stanford. Those are some of the schools showing interest.
"I am planning on taking some visits. I plan on going to Virginia on April 5th for a junior day. I'm looking at heading to Maryland again soon and to Virginia Tech on April 19th for the spring game."
Already Hill has been to Maryland.
"From all perspectives I saw it was nice there," he said. "The academics are good, they take care of their players, the tutors and coaches work together and they have a good minority percentage."
What does Hill want in a college in general?
"Academics is my number two, maybe No. 1," he said. "Coaching is important too, I want coaches that I can build a relationship with and feel comfortable around. I also want a school with minority clubs on campus.
"I haven't thought about distance, but as for education. I want to go into sciences or biology. I also want good food."
Like many players the Williamsburg prospect followed a few schools growing up.
"I kind of liked Tennessee, Michigan a bit and Florida State," he stated. "Tennessee because that was my brother's favorite school, Michigan since I have family up there and I watched them growing up and Florida State since they have good athletes. I like those schools still."
