Virginia DE is taking visits
Chesapeake (Va.) Great Bridge defensive end Brian Jordan has visited a number of schools this summer. Where has the 6-foot-3, 207-pounder been and who does he hold offers from?
"I've been to a bunch of passing leagues including ECU, ODU and Virginia," he said. "Right now I have a verbal from NC State and an offer from Old Dominion. I think Akron is really interested in me and they are getting close to offering."

What's the situation with NC State?
"The coaches came to my school and I've gotten letters," he said. "They are making sure they'll come to games this fall to look at me more. They haven't talked too much about offering."
Two other schools are also coming in.
"I'm hoping to get offers from West Virginia and North Carolina," he said. "Both have been interested. Coach Beatty from West Virginia comes to Great Bridge a lot and I probably just have to do more this year to get their attention.
"I am planning to head up to West Virginia in the next couple weeks with Carvin Powell to take a tour of the school."
