Virginia CB names top two

Cornerback Lester Bell out of Virginia Beach (Va.) Kempsville has narrowed his list of favorites to two schools. Who is the 5-foot-11, 172-pounder favoring and what does he like about them?
"I think I've all but narrowed it down to East Carolina and North Carolina," he said. "Those are the two schools I'll visit after the season ends and then I'll probably commit to one of them.

"I picked North Carolina because I went down there in July for team camp. When I was there the coaches called me out and offered. I like that they are only three hours away from home and my uncle graduated from there. I've been following their program since I was a young kid and I like the system and coaches. Not only have they offered, but they mentioned possible early playing time."
What does the two-star prospect like about his other favorite East Carolina?
"I like that they are only two and half hours away. They are very close and I don't want to go too far," he said. "I was treated the same there as I was at UNC and when I went to camp and ran a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, they offered on the spot. I still talk to the coaches frequently from there and I like their system a lot too."
Although Bell claims he's down to the Pirates and Tar Heels, other schools are in the mix.
"I'm planning to more than likely take all five official visits," he said. "I'm still getting interest from other schools including Syracuse, Akron, Temple, Wake Forest, South Carolina and Virginia Tech too."
