Virginia CB favors OSU, Michigan

Two Big Ten schools are still standing out for Richmond (Va.) Huguenot cornerback Sean Smalls, still nothing has been decided for sure about his college future.
“Michigan and Ohio State are the top two schools for sure, but I haven’t made a decision,” Smalls said. “I always liked Michigan growing up. I was a big Charles Woodson fan and they have a great program. Ohio State has a great program too and I like them. Ohio State is another school I’ve always liked. I don’t have any official visits set, but I want to see what the schools have to offer.”

The 6-foot-0, 183-pound prospect said Penn State, Maryland and UCLA are all still on his list. He wants to take all five visits before making a decision sometime in December or January.
Smalls high school season at Huguenot has been tough with just three victories this season. Smalls was an All-Metro selection in his junior season in the Richmond area. That means the No. 43 ranked cornerback in the country by Rivals.com and 16th best player in the state of Virginia will be focusing soon on his college choice.
“There have been a lot of calls and I’m sure they will be more,” Smalls said. “It has been good.”
