Virginia adds two more commitments

The Virginia Cavaliers landed two more commitments this week to go along with TE Tom Santi.
"Jamaal committed to Virginia, they offered him and that's where he wanted to go," said Chesapeake (Va.) Deep Creek head coach David Cox of Jamaal Jackson, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound safety. "I couldn't confirm it until I got more info, but he's going to be a Cavalier."

In addition to Jackson, the Cavs also landed a kicker.
"I committed to Virginia," said Lock Haven (Pa.) Central Mountain kicker Chris Gould. "I like UVA's academics and emphasis on special teams. I spoke to coach Brown quite a bit and he works with the kicker and they really key on the kicking game. I also loved the area and the staff."
Gould is a 6-foot-0, 190-pounder who chose the Cavaliers over offers from Pitt and Ohio State. He is 7-for-14 on field goal attempts this season for Central Mountain, which is 3-5. But four of his misses have come from beyond 50 yards. Gould has made kicks from 53 and 54 yards, the latter being a career long.
