Virgin excited about his first visit

Isaac Virgin is a big quarterback prospect from Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood High School. Virgin, 6-4.5 and 240 pounds, has led his team to a 9-1 record. Their lone loss was to Treasure Coast. They play Boca Raton in the first round of the playoffs.
"I believe that I am stronger and smarter than a year ago," Virgin said. "We also have a great coaching staff and those guys have really helped me a lot. I'm athletic and I can make plays. I also have a strong arm."

Some think Virgin has a chance to be an outstanding quarterback in college while others say he's such a good athlete he could play tight end or defensive end.
"I think I have a great chance to play quarterback. If not, I want to play tight end. I want to play offense."
According to Virgin he has scholarship offers from Purdue, Iowa State, South Florida and Liberty. His first visit comes this weekend to Iowa State (11-14).
"I am very excited to go visit them. It's my first one and I can't wait.
"Right now I am pretty wide open with everyone. I am hoping a few more offers come in from schools like Georgia and Florida.
"First and foremost I am looking for a great education so the quality of the school is first. The coaching staffs are important and I am also looking at the type of offense they run. For me personally I want to play in a spread."
Virgin has been to one game this season, USF/UCF.
