Virgile camps at in-state schools
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star outside linebacker Lance Virgile has a variety of options to choose from with regards to his recruitment.
"I have 10 offers," Virgile said. "Right now I am just keeping it open. I don't want to commit right away right now."

Virgile's offer list consists of Bowling Green, East Carolina, Florida International, Houston, Louisville, Miami-Ohio, N.C. State, UCF, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound defender is camping at a number of schools in hopes of earning more offers. On Thursday, he wrapped up a visit to Florida State.
"It was pretty fun," Virgile said. "I had a good time. I got some work in. I learned a lot of stuff. I come to these camps not only to have fun but to learn."
The Seminoles have been active with Virgile, who previously visited the Seminoles for a junior day event.
"I have been talking with Coach (Eddie) Gran," Virgile said. "They like my intensity. They told me to come out here to show them how I play. I gave them what they wanted.
"They are going to evaluate me more," Virgile added.
If the Seminoles were to offer, the South Florida product says they would immediately move up his list.
"FSU is one of my top schools if they were to offer me," Virgile said.
Another in-state school that is active with Virgile and that he is heavily interested in is Miami. He was in Coral Gables recently for a session of the Al Golden Football Camp.
"I visited Miami before this," Virgile said. "It was hard work. Working in that humidity for five hours, it was hard."
With regards to making a decision, Virgile is hoping to be able to do it at some point between now and the end of August.
"I don't know, that day is just going to hit me," Virgile said. "I want to do it probably before the season but I will wait for the right time."
Virgile mentioned an interest in visiting Houston, N.C. State, and West Virginia, as well as other places, before the summer concludes.
