Virbitsky goes on an unofficial

Jermyn (Pa.) Lakeland tight end Justin Virbitsky took an unofficial visit over the weekend. Where did the 6-foot-5, 251-pounder visit on the trip?
"I went to Penn State for an unofficial," he said. "It was nice and it was a good game. They played Wisconsin and it was a great game to go to. It's a great atmosphere up there with 110,000 people.

"Before the game, I got to talk to coach Anderson on the sidelines. That's where I also saw some players' warm-up. Coach Anderson said he didn't get to my film yet, but he was going to evaluate it and get back to me."
Currently Virbitsky holds offers from Duke, Temple, Akron and Buffalo.
Besides Penn State, three other schools are also interested in possibly offering.
"Pittsburgh, Connecticut and Vanderbilt have been talking to me too," he said. "I sent them all tapes and am waiting to hear back on what they think."
The two-star prospect maintains there are no leaders for his services and also mentioned that no other visits are planned.
In the meantime, Virbitsky has helped his team to a 5-2 record.
"We're doing well," he said. "I'm having a decent year. I'm improving a lot on my blocking and tackling. I do have two catches for 40-yards and a touchdown."
