Viramontes hearing from others

Victor Viramontes is being recruited as a quarterback and a linebacker and the three-star prospect said he's more concerned about getting on the field than which position he's playing.
Two Big 10 programs - Wisconsin and Nebraska - lead the pack for the Norco, Calif., recruit and he's planning some Midwest trips in June to see what he likes about both teams.

"Wisconsin said I'm high on their board for offense and defense," Viramontes said. "Nebraska offered me as a linebacker so I'm going to go visit them next month to see how everything plays out, see how much I like it there.
"Basically, I told the coaches whatever it takes to get on the field. I just love the game that much. I'm willing to help out the team in any way possible."
So far, Viramontes has also been offered by Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV and Washington State but many other programs are giving chase.
The three-star prospect said he's not rushing a decision basically because so many other schools are getting involved.
He said Michigan wants to see him throw, USC watched him during a recent workout, UCLA is expected to come out soon and then Boise State, Colorado and Fresno State are getting involved.
With so much potentially happening, Viramontes is remaining patient in his recruitment.
"I just want to let everything play out by itself," Viramontes said.
"I have a bunch of schools coming out. I kind of want to wait until it's the right time for me. I'm not trying to rush into anything because I'm going to be living there for four or five years so I don't want to rush into anything too soon."
