Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch linebacker Vince Hall was supposed to take an official visit to Penn State, one of his long-time favorites, this past weekend. However, it didn’t happen.
“They said they thought I was coming on Jan. 24 instead of this weekend, but I can’t see how they got that confused,” said the 6-foot-1, 230-pounder. “It’s too bad because I wanted to see them, I was pretty interested. But it’s not fair to Tennessee and I’m not sure about Penn State now that this happened. I don’t think I’ll re-schedule. In fact, I’m pretty sure I won’t.”
Hall went to North Carolina on Jan. 10 and has also been to Virginia Tech already.

“I don’t have a leader, I liked Tech and what they have to offer – I’ve always liked them,” he said. “But North Carolina was really nice also. It’s a great area and they’re recruiting me very hard. Coach Bunting, coach Beamer and coach Fulmer have all been to my house already.”
Hall also has an official visit set with South Carolina for Feb. 3, but he thinks he’ll be ready to decide by then.
“Probably the week after Tennessee, I should be ready to decide,” he said. “I don’t have a leader, at least not one I want to make public yet.”
