Villamin plans important camp stop

Jordan Villamin is camping at Arizona State this weekend and he's hoping for an offer from the Sum Devils because it would be a big deal in his recruitment.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound three-star wide receiver from Etiwanda, Calif., said last weekend at the Southern Cal Rivals.com Showcase Powered by FBU Select that Arizona State has great location and he wants to hear more from that coaching staff.

"I've been talking to them a lot," Villamin said.
"Hopefully, if I go out there and do well I can pick up an offer. It would be a pretty major one. It's not too far away from my house but it's a good distance so it's an ideal location."
Oregon State and Eastern Washington have already offered Villamin, who said he has lots of interest in the Beavers since they've been involved with him for so long and he likes the coaching staff.
He's expected to visit Oregon State, Oregon, Washington, Washington State and Boise State in the coming months so that could help him determine favorites as his recruitment moves forward as well.
"There's a lot of interest there," Villamin said of Oregon State.
"That was my first one and they've been on me since my sophomore year. I know Mike Riley and some of the other coaches really well so that's important."
Fresno State has also been keeping in contact with Villamin, who has shined at multiple 7on7 events this off-season, and some other schools have reached out, too.
