Vickers still looking

Does father know best? That's a question that Houston Forest Brook running back Lawrence Vickers is asking himself right now.
Vickers, who committed to Colorado early in the recruiting process, said he does not want to take any other official visits and is 100 percent solid on his decision to play for the Buffs. However, his father keeps encouraging him to take other visits.

"I don' t know why he wants me to," Vickers, who has rushed for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, said.
"But he still wants me to take a few more visits. I've told Colorado that I'm done and won't take any more, but I'll see what he ends up wanting me to do."
Vickers said at this point, he still does have visits to Arkansas on Nov. 30 and Iowa on Dec. 7 set up. The LSU coaches also continue to call and want him to visit in December, too.
"I'm sure I'm going to Colorado," Vickers said. "Just tell everybody that for me. I'll just have to talk to my father about things."
