Vickers has a top five in mind

Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian running back Jonathan Vickers has five schools in mind, however a final decision is not likely to happen soon.
While other top prospects have been attending camps and visiting schools in the early part of June, Vickers has been staying close to home.

"I'm mostly talking to coaches that came by in the spring," he said. "I'm setting up a tour for this summer and I've got to finalize that.
"I definitely plan to go up to Florida State, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Louisville and Ole Miss. They're my top choices."
The 6-foot, 205-pound prospect is ranked the No. 30 running back in the nation and said he is unable to narrow his list any more beyond that top five.
"I wouldn't really say I have a top school [out of those five]," he said. "I've got to take the visits first."
Do not assume Vickers will be ready to make a decision after he takes those trips. He should be closer to a decision, and might start to have an idea of where he wants to be, but he plans on taking his time and taking advantage of all the official visits at his disposal.
"I'm gonna have an idea of who I like at the end of the summer but I want to wait 'til I take some official visits before I make my decision," he said.
