The Oregon Ducks have been keeping tabs on him ever since. In-state rivals the Oregon State Beavers also were impressed with his combine.
Hall camped at UCLA and he was scheduled to attend Cal’s camp but he had a slight injury that kept him from attending.
While at UCLA’s camp Hall grabbed the attention of a Northern Arizona assistant coach and NAU is showing a lot of interest.
Colorado State, San Diego State and Boise State are also showing interest in Hall.
Hall will be one if those guys who will see his stock rise if he lives up to his potential during his senior season.
Hall has a lot of athletic ability and he has the versatility to play a variety of positions.
“Jon will play a little bit of defense for us,” Thousand Oaks coach Mike Sanders said. “He could play defensive end or potentially middle linebacker if needed. He’s that good of an athlete.”
“Jon is basically an offensive player,” Sanders said. “We play him as H-back, slot-back and we may line him up at fullback and send him in motion.”
“Tight end is Hall’s normal position,” Sanders said. “We do a lot of things with him because he runs great routes and has great hands.”
Hall accounted for 19 receptions for 306 yards while averaging 16.3 yards per catch and one touchdown.
Hall is coming into his own as a football player. He is improving in every aspect of his game including blocking.
