Versatile OL Waiting on More Offers

With 11 offers and one official visit under his belt, it is still a waiting game for Eric Tetlow. The offensive tackle from Richmond (Va.) Mills E. Godwin is still hoping to hear from more schools after they see his film.
"All the schools are still recruiting me really hard. I definitely like Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Maryland, Boston College, USF and Arizona State," said the 6-foot-6, 294-pound Tetlow. "They're all trying to get me to come up for an official. I like Maryland a lot. They're having a pretty good year and they're playing a lot of young guys. Things got busy at school so now I'm trying to get back into recruiting."

The only official visit Tetlow has taken so far was to Wake Forest.
"I took my first official visit to Wake Forest for the Duke game and loved it. The game was rough because we lost to our biggest rival the same way Wake lost to Duke," he explained. "I talked to all the coaches during dinner and hung out with the players and Hunter Goodwin. The next day I met with the academic advisor and talked with coach (Jim) Grobe and coach (Jonathan) Himebauch."
Where is Tetlow planning to visit next?
"I don't have anymore visits planned right now. I'm waiting on some responses from other schools. It would be nice to stay in the east or close in the Midwest."
Injuries on the offensive line have forced Mills E Godwin to shuffle some of their lineman. This has allowed Tetlow to show off his versatility.
"I've played all 5 positions on the line this year and it's been a lot of fun," said Tetlow "The biggest adjustment has been moving to guard and learning how to trap and pull. At center it is difficult learning the angles for pass blocking."
