Versatile Brown has Tide in front

The position junior athlete [db]Beniquez Brown[/db] of Florence (Ala.) plays in college almost certainly will depend on which school his picks.
Some programs like him at safety.

Others like him at running back.
And one even wants him at outside linebacker.
"If I went to Alabama, it would be playing safety," Brown told Rivals.com. "At Florida, I'd probably play linebacker. Almost everybody is recruiting me at safety or running back. All of them are saying I can play whatever I want, really. It doesn't really matter to me. I'll play anywhere. Whatever gets me on the field."
Thus far, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Brown claims 11 offers, the most recent coming from Florida and Vanderbilt, he said. As of Monday evening, one program stood out.
"Alabama is my leader right now," Brown said. "It's not that far from home. And I've got a good relationship with the coaches. I'm real comfortable there. I like it down there. "
Who's next after the Crimson Tide?
"Georgia, then Mississippi State," Brown said.
Tennessee visited Brown on Monday. Last week, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi State stopped by. Brown already has traveled to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State and Tennessee. And he isn't done.
"I'm going to Vandy in the next couple of weeks," Brown said. "Then I'm going to Arkansas. Then Mississippi State for a camp. Then I'm making a trip to Florida."
A decision from Brown isn't expected anytime soon. Asked Monday if he were close to making a commitment, he replied, "No sir. Maybe after I take some more visits. I'm just waiting it out right now."
