Versatile ATH Tweedy begins to get looks

Richmond (Va.) Hermitage has more than lineman prospects in the 2007 class. Wide receiver Alonzo Tweedy is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete that has started to receive college interest.
"Alonzo is an extremely athletic player that could be a defensive back, wide receiver or linebacker in college," Hermitage head coach Patrick Kane. "It is really hard to determine what position he'll play at the next level because I wouldn't want to classify him yet with the potential he has.

"He is light only because of the fact he's a multisport athlete, but he definitely has the frame to hold 20 or 30 more pounds. He hustles extremely well and has a knack for making things happen. I think that is due to his great instincts as a player and wonderful ability to run and jump."
Tweedy is also a great basketball player for Hermitage and averages double figures in points and rebounds.
Currently schools including Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Kansas State and others have been in contact with Tweedy.
This summer the versatile athlete plans to attend the Richmond camp in June, no combines are currently scheduled at this time.
