Versatile 2010 lineman learning fast

Most prospects being recruited to play in the top conferences in the nation have a fairly extensive background on the football field. Some prospects, like defensive tackle Nathaniel Clarke, have just shown a knack for learning quickly.
Clarke, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman from Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll, has already proven that he has a lot of potential. He's even more impressive when you consider how long he's been playing.

"I play defensive end, actually, so I think (some) schools will recruit me for that," Clarke said. "I did very well last year considering it was my first year playing varsity. I've only been playing (football) since my freshman year. It's like I was born to do it."
Clarke plans to camp at Boston College on June 19 and is also anticipating trips to Maryland and Florida over the summer.
"So far I haven't heard from any schools, really," he explained. "(Coaches) will send me mail for camps but that's about it. I do have a couple of coach's numbers, like from Boston College and NC State. I've talked to them a little bit.
"I'm pretty open right now. I would like to have a very good education with nice teachers and a good environment. I don't want it too be too different from home."
