Veldheer enjoys Notre Dame game

"I went to the Notre Dame-Stanford game," Grand Rapids (Mich.) Forest Hills Northern offensive lineman Jared Veldheer said. "It was nice. It was fun. I talked to the O-line coach. I still have to send them a film."
"I also went to the Michigan State-Notre Dame game. I'm going to a game at Western Michigan two weeks from now. And a Central Michigan game."

Asked to name the schools he is most interested in, Veldheer said, "Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Western Michigan would probably be my top three. Followed by Florida Atlantic and Cornell."
"I don't have any offers as of now. They really want to see some film."
The 6-foot-8 and 270 pound Veldheer began his senior season playing offensive tackle. He then moved to tight end for four games. However when Forest Hills Northern's center broke his leg, Veldheer moved to center. He is being recruited as an offensive tackle.
