Vegas star attends junior day

The desert hamlet of Las Vegas was well represented at the Rivals.com junior day held in Anaheim last weekend by the appearance of safety prospect Corbin Brown (6-0, 162, 4.57) from Las Vegas (Nev.) Spring Valley.
Brown had an outstanding junior season that saw him earn first-team all-state, first-team all-area, first-team all-conference and Conference Defensive Player of the Year from his safety position after racking up 104 tackles and six interceptions.

On the offensive side of the ball, Brown was very productive. He had five receptions on the year in which ended up as touchdowns.
Brown is already on the recruiting radar system of Oregon, Washington, UCLA, Colorado, Illinois, Florida, Texas A&M, Nevada and UNLV.
The scouting report on Brown is he has outstanding leadership qualities and he's like a coach on the field. He's a dependable performer who makes sure his teammates are in their proper alignment.
Pound-for-pound, Brown can. He packs a pop of a much bigger player. He's and excellent reader of offense and one of his best qualities is his tackling ability. He is a sure tackler and takes pride in his tackling.
What is Brown looking in a school?
"I'm hoping for early playing time and a school with a good academic reputation," Brown said. "I'm also looking for a school that has a nice college atmosphere.
"Location doesn't matter to me," Brown said. "I'll go anywhere and I'll play anywhere."
"I don't have any favorite schools at this time," Brown said. "I'm keeping my options open."
In the weight room Brown currently benches 230, squats 320, cleans 225 and has recorded a 35-inch vertical.
