Vegas sleeper about to breakout

One of the biggest sleepers in the western region is linebacker/running back Christian McMillan (6-2, 220, 4.6) from Las Vegas (Nev.) Shadow Ridge.
The reason why McMillan is a sleeper is he didn't get to play as a junior due transfer rules.

Don't let the lack of recognition fool you. He played his freshman and sophomore years at powerhouse North Las Vegas (Nev.) Cheyenne.
McMillan played his freshman season on the frosh team until the playoffs then he was brought up to the varsity. He acclimated himself well to the varsity level. All he did was start on both sides of the ball throughout the playoff run.
As a sophomore, McMillan started both ways for a Cheyenne team that once again went deep into the playoffs and lost only two games all season. Both of the losses came at the hands of the eventual state champs.
Though McMillan is a sleeper there are some teams that remember him from his sophomore season and are ahead of the recruiting curve.
McMillan is being recruited by Oklahoma, the Sooners have written several letters to him. Other schools include Oregon State, Colorado State and Fresno State.
What makes this list of schools even more interesting is the fact these are schools that recruit the Vegas very well.
McMillan went to the UNLV camp with his high school team and ended up being the camp MVP. His team were the camp champions.
The scouting report on McMillan is he's a very aggressive and physical linebacker. He has what all good linebackers have and that's an excellent nose for the football. McMillan is very athletic and is an excellent tackler.
McMillan has the versatility to play inside or out. Shadow Ridge moved him to the outside because they want to take advantage of his speed and quickness. They need a guy to play the position who can run with running backs on pass routes.
McMillan is currently benching 250 and squats 450. He recently recorded 32-inch vertical at the UNLV Camp.
What is McMillan looking for in a college?
"It doesn't really matter if I stay close to home or not," McMillan said. "The important thing is I want to get a good education.
"Then what kind of system the football team runs. Meaning what their primary offense and defense is like do they run a 4-3, 3-4 or 3-5-3 scheme.
McMillan is penciled in to play both ways as a senior. He will add running back to his duties. He is being recruited as a linebacker currently, but who knows what this fall will bring.
Once senior season tape goes around if McMillan plays up to his potential look for his stock to rise dramatically.
