Vegas athlete racking up offers

One of the fastest rising prospects on the West Coast is athlete prospect Quentin Carter (6-2, 185, 4.45) from North Las Vegas (Nev.) Cheyenne. Since Rivals.com first introduced you to Carter he has racked up three offers and the prevailing wisdom is there are more on the way.
Carter made a huge splash last weekend when he attended the final NIKE Camp at Eugene this past Saturday on June 18th. He was so impressive that he was invited to the Elite 11 camp this coming weekend in Las Vegas. Carter will participate at both quarterback and wide receiver.

The NIKE Camp isn't the only camp that Carter has stood out at of late. He recently attended the Cal Bear camp and he walked off with the senior wide receiver MVP of the camp award.
The ever busy Carter will be headed to the UCLA four-day camp right after the Elite 11 camp.
Carter currently has offers from Utah, Colorado State and Oregon State. He is getting serious recruiting attention from California, UCLA, Oregon, Washington, Washington State and hometown UNLV.
"I am very open regarding colleges," Carter said. "I am open to all offers and the one that is the best deal will be the school that I end up choosing."
"I will probably start to decide what colleges I will visit by late August before my season starts."
While lining up primarily at quarterback as a junior, Carter made plays. He passed for 800 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing for 500 more yards and 12 more touchdowns. For his career at Cheyenne, Carter has a total of 58 career score rushing and passing. He was selected all-league for his performance in 2005.
