Vault has visits planned

Gaithersburg (Md.) athlete Solomon Vault will be busy visiting colleges in the days ahead. He will start off his visits with a stop at a Big Ten program.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound athlete will be at two schools in particular. He spoke about that this week as he was boarding a flight for his college visit.

"I'm going to Northwestern for a visit for about three days," Vault said on Wednesday night. "I'm actually getting on the plane now. After that I'm going to be at Western Michigan for a day."
After those trips are behind him Vault will take a little break from visits so he can focus on finishing his school year. Then it's back on the road.
"I'll probably go to Tennessee and Purdue this summer," he said.
Vault said he is keeping an open mind and it is too early to tell which schools are standing out. With offers from schools such as Minnesota, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Tennessee, his upcoming visits will likely play a big part in his final decision.
"I'm just taking it all in and seeing what I like. Up at Northwestern I'm going to watch a scrimmage and just find out more about the school," he said.
