Vaughns not planning visits

Two of La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat's top offensive players including four-star receiver Trevon Sidney were sidelined this past weekend in their game against Anaheim (Calif.) Servite.
So USC commit Tyler Vaughns decided to take over.

The top-rated receiver in California had two touchdown grabs including a jump ball over three-star defensive back Keyon Riley and Amat cruised to victory.
"Even though some of our teammates weren't here I knew I had to play a bigger role for our team and just execute more," Vaughns said.
"I knew (Riley) was over-aggressive so I have to play a finesse game with him. Knowing that he's aggressive and trying to push I used his body weight against him and just go up with him."
Vaughns is completely focused on his senior season and working hard in school especially since his recruitment is wrapped up.
The four-star receiver who's rated No. 27 nationally committed to USC a couple weeks before the season and he said he's pleased the recruiting process is finished.
"I'm really happy I don't have to worry about anything but this, focus on football and my school work so I'm great right now," Vaughns said.
There was some consideration to take other official visits. Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma were discussed but at this point Vaughns said he doesn't think any other trips will happen. He's still working on scheduling his official to USC sometime this season.
"I don't think I will take any official visits anywhere else," Vaughns said.
