Vaughn heading to South Bend
Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More wide receiver Chris Vaughn said yesterday that he would decide today between Notre Dame and Iowa. Which school did Vaughn choose?
"I chose Notre Dame," said the 6-foot-4, 205 pound receiver who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.

What made the difference for Vaughn?
"I love the tradition that surrounds the program. I like coaches a lot and I felt very comfortable in South Bend on my visit. Notre Dame really needs a big physical wide receiver and I am positive that I can fill that role."
Vaughn, a three-star prospect, is rated the No. 77 wide receiver in the nation.
