VAs Miles makes a decision

Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton defensive end Reggie Miles has made a decision. The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder decided to bypass other offers for the military route.
"I have committed to the Naval Academy," he said. "I committed a little while back.

"I committed there because I have a big naval history in my family. I always wanted to go into the Marine Corps."
Miles is coming off a recent trip to Navy for the Florida Atlantic game.
"I love the way the school looks and the campus," he said. "The coaches are great there and they have a great community.
"I talked to some alumni up there and they all said it was the best experience they had."
Miles family is excited too.
"They are proud," he said. "Football is great, but I'm focusing more on the education going on then football."
From what Miles has heard, he has been recruited as a defensive end.
Miles held other offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Connecticut, Northwestern, Ohio, Old Dominion and Purdue.
Meanwhile, on the season, the two-star has helped his team to a playoff battle with Battlefield this week.
"I've been doing better this year," he said. "I'm using my hands more and doing well against the run.
"I'm definitely getting more extension in my arms. My hands are a little bit better too."
