Vanderbilt lands three-star LB
Memphis (Tenn.) Memphis University School outside linebacker DeAndre Jones has been taking a hard look at college options from around the country. His list of finalists include SEC neighbor Kentucky, Big Ten mainstay Michigan State, Pac-10 upstart Stanford and a school right down the block in Vanderbilt University.
Despite his nationwide overtures, Jones looks as though he will be staying in state to play for the Commodores.

Has Jones committed to play football for Vanderbilt?
"Yes sir," Jones said. "Yes sir, I have."
Though Jones was rushed for time and unable to comment further, Rivals.com will continue to follow up with the three-star prospect to get his thoughts on his future in Nashville.
Jones is expected to visit the Vanderbilt campus on an official visit either this weekend or next and would add a speedy addition to the Commodores' lofty linebacking tradition.
