VA sleeper Kennah has huge junior year

Colleges haven't taken much notice of Dumfries (Va.) Potomac safety Abdul Kennah up to this point. However, that should change in the near future as the 6-foot-0, 175-pounder compiled 120 tackles, 17 deflections and five interceptions on his way to first team all-state honors last season according to his head coach Tony Lilly.
"I think the reason why schools haven't taken a look is because he transferred here before last season and hadn't played high school football before that," he stated. "I expect him to get a lot more attention next year. I do know he's wide open and just looking for an opportunity to go to college to further his education."

There's no question Kennah put up the statistics, but what makes him stand out on the field?
"I'll tell you, he's 175-pounds right now, but is the most violent and physical player I've coached," he said. "He's extremely aggressive and when he meets with a tackle, he explodes.
"He's got to get his weight up, but we're working hard to get 20-pounds on him. On running plays, he gets to the line of scrimmage and knows how to get around the ball. He can cover sideline to sideline and has a lot of range in coverage situations."
