VA sleeper is picking up interest

One offer is already in for 6-foot-1, 180-pound athlete Wayne Fleming. The Bealeton (Va.) Liberty prospect is getting interest from a number of other schools across the mid-Atlantic.
"I got an offer from Idaho State already and I'm waiting to hear back from Temple soon, they are talking about offering me," he said. "I've also been in touch with Virginia, Marshall, Syracuse and Kent State.

"Marshall told me they want me to come to camp. They really want me and are looking to offer before the season starts. I think with Virginia. They want to see some senior film."
Fleming is considering more camps this summer, but hasn't scheduled anything at this time.
Does he like anyone at this point?
"I'm liking Marshall and Temple right now," he said. "I went to Temple and it seems like they have a good academic program and if you can play they'll play you. They are showing a lot of interest in me and it's a good place.
"I haven't been to Marshall. I plan to visit soon and I want to see how I like the campus and everything."
As interest picks up, Fleming is looking for a few things in a college.
"Education is important and I want a good football program. I want to try to go pro. I also want a local school, so my family can watch me play."
The Commonwealth prospect posted 950-yards rushing and 15 touchdowns on his way to second team all-district honors as a junior.
