VA LB drawing major interest

Virginia Beach (Va.) Landstown linebacker Deveon Simmons has seven scholarship offers and counting. Simmons, one of the top players in the state of Virginia, is waiting on interest from two ACC schools. What schools is Simmons waiting on?
"I would love to get some interest from Florida State and Miami. I haven't received any interest yet though," said the 6-foot-1, 208-pound linebacker who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.
Although Miami and Florida State have not shown interest at this point, Simmons has already racked up seven scholarship offers.
"I have offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Maryland, North Carolina, Syracuse, and West Virginia. I would say that my favorites at this point are Virginia, Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Nebraska."
What does Simmons look for in a school?
"I want to play early. I want to play for a solid coaching staff and I want to play in a scheme that will showcase my ability."
Last season, Simmons racked up over 100 tackles. He had five sacks and one interception.
