VA backer claims first offer

Highland Springs, Va. linebacker AJ Moore claims his first offer. In fact, the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder states he got the offer approximately a month ago.
"I got it on March 25th from West Virginia," he said. "They watched my highlight and contacted my coach. I was excited, that was my first offer. I'm No. 1 on their defense and that's a good thing."

Does Moore know much about the Mountaineers?
"It's a great school," he said. "I really don't know much about them. I was supposed to go up on a visit last weekend, but couldn't make it. I don't have a date, but I may be able to get there before the summer."
West Virginia isn't the only school picking up for Moore.
"Yesterday my coach had gotten a call from Miami and they want to offer me. I've heard it's a guarantee," he said. "The coach wants to come down and see me next week.
"They are saying the same thing as West Virginia, how they like me and I'm a good player."
Moore is intrigued by the 'Canes.
"It's a big school, I'd go there no problem," he said. "I just like the program, it's a great program and I've always liked the football team."
Moore is starting to plan summer camps and is eyeing a trip for Miami's camp in July.
