2010 defensive end Devonte Jackson is a name to watch. The Gloucester, Va. prospect is already picking up interest from a few schools at the start of his junior season.
"Right now I've been getting stuff from Oregon, Ohio State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and a lot more schools," he said. "I know they can't talk to me yet, but they all want my highlight tape and want to continue to recruit me."

The 6-foot-3, 264-pounder already has an idea about what he's looking for.
"I basically want to stay local, in-state," he said. "I see a lot of juniors commit early. I want to be one of those people that gets my future set so I can focus to the best of my ability in high school football."
With his desire to stay in-state, what is the situation with the Hokies and Cavaliers?
"I would like to go to Virginia," he said. "Two years ago our outside linebacker got a full ride there. He's working trying to help me out. They are a great school in the ACC.
"Every time I look Virginia Tech gets another recruit. I don't know if I see myself at Virginia Tech as much."
Jackson is getting interest and discussed what he is looking for in a school.
"I want a college that will let me play," he said. "I understand I'm young and I can learn. I want to learn more about the game and get better."
Jackson hasn't visited anywhere to date this fall, but did mention a desire to head to Virginia sometime in the near future.
