UVA offers DB Alleyne

One of the more under the radar recruits in the Mid-Atlantic is Jahque Alleyne. The safety from Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes picked up his sixth offer just a few days ago from Virginia.
"I know a little about Virginia," said the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Alleyne. "I have a couple teammates and guys I played against that are up there like Quin Blanding, Taquan Mizzell and Eli Harold. It's a great campus and hopefully I can visit there some time soon. I've been there twice for games already. I haven't spoken to any coaches up there lately. I've spoken to coach London once."

Alleyne also holds offers from West Virginia, Kentucky, Charlotte, East Carolina and Old Dominion.
"I've spoken to coach DeForest about taking a visit up to West Virginia," he said. "I'll busy this spring so I just need to find a time to get up there.
I like Old Dominion, East Carolina and Kentucky," Alleyne said. "West Virginia is definitely in there too. I'm hoping to hear from Tennessee, Illinois and Oregon. I'm waiting to see who really wants me."
Alleyne does not have any visits planned right now but knows what he is looking for in a school.
"Academics come first to me," he said. "I'm looking for an honest coaching staff, guys that will be real with me. I like it if a coach can mess around a little bit but when it's time to get serious they are all business. I'd like for there to be a strong fan base."
Alleyne was one of the top performers at the New Jersey Pylon 7-on-7 tournament last weekend.
