Through the first few games of his season, three-star Monroe (N.C.) cornerback Treshun Wynn has battled an ankle injury, but it hasn't stopped him from getting interest from at least one new ACC school.
"Probably like a week ago I got a call from one of the Virginia coaches and he came by practice to see us," Wynn said. "They told me they're going to try to make an offer soon and just keep in touch. I want to get up there and check out a game soon."
Wynn said the Cavaliers are a young program and he's interested in checking out the program.
"When they were talking to me they were telling me about how they have young guys contributing early," he said. "They have a good team and it's only like 3-4 hours away from home so it's a school I'm interested in for sure."
Recently Wynn visited up-start Charlotte and said he was impressed with the first-year program.
"It really impressed me a lot," he said. "It was my first time being there for a game. There were a lot of people there and they were telling me how they were going to expand it the future. It was amazing and it was wild out there with how the crowd was really into the game. The team that they played they smashed them."
Next up on Wynn's list is a visit to Appalachian State, where he hopes to get a better look at the program.
"I want to see a game there and tour the campus," he said. "I know when the coaches come by they always talk about their facilities. They have new stuff and my teammates who have been there have told me it's really nice."
