UVA, Duke among schools on Eveld

Bobby Eveld is a quarterback prospect to keep a close eye on this recruiting season. Eveld, 6-5 and 195 pounds, is from Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit High School. He split time last season as a junior and still threw for over 1,000 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions.
"I am getting letters from a bunch of schools like Duke, Notre Dame, Virginia and others," Eveld said. "I have talked with schools like Central Florida and USF. I went to a USF junior day and it was awesome. Coach (Jim) Leavitt is really into it and a very good coach. I was amazed with South Florida, especially their facilities."

Eveld is playing baseball for Jesuit so he has devoted much of his time to this sport. Jesuit is one of the top teams in the nation and currently ranked No. 9 in the RivalsHigh Top 25. Eveld is the backup catcher to Joe Hudson, who has committed to play baseball at Notre Dame.
"I am real wrapped up in baseball right now and I will try and get to as many football practices and stuff as I can.
"I know this summer I will camp as some schools like Florida and I would like to get to camps at Duke and Virginia. It will all depend on my schedule."
