UTEP offers Freeman
The NIKE Training Camp did a lot for several players who wanted to elevate their stock. One was Houston Cy Falls all-purpose back Jack Freeman.
Freeman, who is being recruited as a slot receiver, running back, kick return specialist, and other spots, walked into the camp with one scholarship offer from Northwestern. However, another one came by the time he got home.

"Yeah, UTEP came today," Freeman said about his second offer. "They were talking about how they liked me at the NIKE Camp. They were impressed and they said they wanted to offer me."
Though he has listed teams such as Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Texas Tech as teams that he likes, UTEP is making their way up the list.
"I like the spread and I think I would fit into that offensive scheme," he said. "I think them coming up with Mike Price while having good receivers helps too. They're doing a good job."
"They're recruiting me for slot receiver, split end, and to possibly return kicks."
Freeman doesn't look like he's close to a decision as the next offers seemingly start to roll in.
