Utah QB adds second offer

Pleasant Grove, Utah, dual-threat quarterback Dallas Lloyd threw for 1, 689 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior. It was those numbers that attracted an early offer from in-state BYU and heavy interest from Arizona, Arizona State, Utah and Boise State.
But his play has now attracted another school.

"Dallas received a full ride from coach Harbaugh at Stanford," Casey Lloyd, Dallas' father, said. "Stanford would have to be listed now as the favorite. He had a chance to talk to a lot of the coaches – coach Harbaugh, coach Shaw and coach Anderson. The offer is in the mail, and we're very excited about it."
As a junior, Lloyd led his team to a 10-2 record and regional championship. He was 93-for-169 for 1,689 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2008. He also rushed for five touchdowns and 128 yards in playoff game against Brighton.
His play allowed him to be named an all-conference selection.
