Utah OL staying close to home

Provo (Utah) Timpview continues to be a pipeline to BYU and picked up yet another commitment in the last week. Mammoth offensive lineman Tui Crichton is the latest to announce for the Cougars.
Crichton, 6-4, 290 pounds committed over the weekend to BYU over offers from Utah and Hawaii. The talented lineman will be a four year starter for Timpview and earned all-state honors as a junior.
"I want to commit early so I could just focus on my senior season," Crichton said. "I've always wanted to go to BYU so there was no need for me to put it off. Now I can just relax and now have to worry about this any more.

"I really like the direction of the BYU football program. I just like everything about the school and feel so comfortable there. I know a lot of people there because we've had so many players from my school attend BYU.
"I also like coach Bronco Mendenhall a lot and I like how he runs the program. I live close to the school and now my family will be able to come and watch me play in college as well."
