Utah OL holding pair of offers

Bingham (Utah) was 14-0 last season and won a state championship. They had two players sign with BYU earlier this month and two more have already committed to the Cougars out of the class of 2008 including standout tight end Austin Holt. Another player to watch is standout offensive lineman Derek Tuimauga who has two offers on the table.
Tuimauga, 6-4, 320 pounds will be one of the top linemen in Utah this coming season. He'll be a four year starter and was named all-region and all-state last season.

Tuimauga plays tackle at the high school level but we feel he projects as a guard in college. He attended the NIKE Camp in Oregon last year and was named to the NIKE Camp underclass honorable mention All-American team after doing 31 reps on the bench and looked very good in the position drills.
On the recruiting front, Tuimauga is hearing from schools all over the country and is sitting on two offers at this time.
"Oregon and Utah have both offered," Tuimauga said. "I'm also hearing from Colorado, Michigan, Louisville, BYU, Washington and Cal.
"Oregon is my top school right now, I've always liked and followed Oregon. Washington, BYU, Utah and Cal would be the rest of my top five. I'm planning to go to a lot of summer camps and that will give me an opportunity to increase my exposure as well as see some of these schools up close and see what they're about.
"I'm planning to camp at Cal, Washington, Colorado and BYU and will also attend the NIKE Camp at Stanford in May. Education is important to me and I'm also looking at location and how good the team is. I want to win so how strong the team is pretty important to me."
