Utah first to offer Texas WR

It’s like clockwork, every single year a player from the Arlington area comes out of nowhere and puts his name on the recruiting map. This year is Arlington (Texas) Bowie receiver Brandon Belvin.
Belvin, who is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver, lead his district in receiving with 21 receptions for 479 yards and seven touchdowns. That’s good enough to have schools from all over the nation showing him interest.

“I have two visits set up,” Belvin said. “I’m going to Tennessee State on November 28 and I’ve got one set up at Utah for December 12. Utah has offered me, and I’m also getting weekly calls now from Colorado State, Arkansas, LSU and Oklahoma State.”
Yes indeed, Belvin’s stock is starting to shoot up the charts.
“I’m a tall guy that has good speed,” Belvin, who has been clocked at 4.5-seconds in the 40-yard dash, said. “I can go up and get the ball.”
