USF already recruiting 2022 Florida DB Nasir Bowers
THE LATEST
Keeping talent close to home is a major priority for the staff at USF and that's why the Bulls have to do a good job of identifying players early in the process. One of the prospects that caught the school's eye this offseason was Class of 2022 Lakeland-area defensive back Nasir Bowers. After seeing varsity time as a freshman in 2018, Bowers earned an offer from USF during the spring. Rivals.com caught up with Bowers to talk about the offer and what it could mean for his recruitment down the line.
IN HIS WORDS
"I have offers from USF and Iowa State."
USF: "I got that one back in May. They came by the school and watched me practice. They liked what they saw in practice and then went back and watched my film and that's when they offered me."
Communication since: "I've been keeping in touch with Coach Williams. He told me they really like my potential and to just keep doing what I do, keep working and keep getting better."
Knowledge of the program: "It's a good opportunity to go there and have an opportunity to compete with the good players. I've been over there to watch them play before as a fan so it will be fun to get back over there as a recruit. I'm going to do that in the fall."
