USC scores on and off the field

The USC Trojans won on and off the field yesterday. The Trojans spanked ASU on the field as they get ready for UCLA in the cross-town classic to be played in the Rose Bowl next Saturday November 23rd. USC won off the field when they picked up the verbal commitment of defensive lineman Matt Spanos (6-5, 270, 5.0) from Corona, Calif.
The Trojans win the services of Spanos over Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Kansas and Fresno State.

The Trojans get a player with tremendous upsides. In an earlier interview with Corona head coach John Brandon. “Spanos has long limbs and gets good separation from blockers. He is very explosive with outstanding lateral movement.”
USC told Spanos likes his leadership abilities. He gets his team pumped up and ready to play. The Trojans also mentioned his physical appearance on the field. They like his size and potential to play defensive tackle.
Going into Friday’s game Spanos had approximately 60 tackles, four sacks, three quarterback hurries, one caused fumble, and one pass deflection.
Nice get for the Trojans.
