USC recruiting Sidney hardest

Trevon Sidney was one of the many top prospects at the recent USC Junior Day and he said the Trojans are definitely making an impression.
Since USC is recruiting him the hardest out of all the schools that have offered, the La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat four-star said he appreciates it and it does influence his thinking as the recruiting process continues.

"It was cool," Sidney said. "I've been there quite a bit but they showed us a little bit more. I saw the dorms and the academic parts, they broke it down for us, how the tutoring goes and pretty much how everyday life would be.
"They're the most aggressive school and that's what I like. The coaches are very welcoming and I feel at home when I'm up there. I appreciate it a lot."
Sidney, a two-way standout at receiver and cornerback, said he definitely appreciates the attention from USC and that it does sway him a little bit but he's nowhere near ready to make a decision.
"It helps but I'm still wide open," Sidney said.
So far, the four-star cornerback lists offers from Arizona, Miami, Notre Dame, Tennessee, UCLA, USC and Washington.
Nothing has been finalized as far as other visits but Sidney is seriously considering at least two trips in the coming weeks - one in the Pac-12 and one in the SEC.
Sidney likes USC a lot but he's keeping his options open and more visits could influence him.
"I've been getting stuff for junior days," Sidney said. "I'm thinking about going to Cal and I might go to LSU."
Sidney finished with 47 tackles in his junior season. He also caught 38 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns.
