USC pursuing Michigan commitment

Twinsburg, Ohio, punter/kicker Zoltan Mesko committed to Michigan after attending the Wolverines football camp during the summer.
"USC was after him and Indiana offered," Twinsburg coach Al Hodakievic said. "A few others offered too.
"USC called in the middle of the year. They offered too. In fact they're still calling.
"But he's all set to go to Michigan. He makes his official visit there this weekend. That will be his only official visit."
The 6-foot-4 and 230 pound Mesko averaged 43.6 yards per punt during his senior season with a long of 68 yards. Mesko also connected on eight of 12 field goals with his long coming from 47 yards. Mesko will go to Michigan as a punter first, then hopes to also eventually become the Wolverines place kicker.
