USC makes move for Lucier-South

Keisean Lucier-South had narrowed his list to five schools.
The Orange (Calif.) Lutheran five-star outside linebacker settled on UCLA, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon and Florida but the USC coaching staff did not give up recruiting him.

That was an incredibly wise move from the Trojans because Lucier-South said Monday night that he really appreciates their efforts and now USC is back on his list.
"They kept recruiting me even when I took them off the list and I respect that a lot and I love what they're doing over there," Lucier-South said.
USC coaches have been sending the five-star outside linebacker plenty of recruiting mail. They had stopped by to see an Orange Lutheran game. Coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff made every effort possible to keep in touch with Lucier-South.
Now the Trojans are back in it.
Lucier-South, rated as the third-best outside linebacker and the No. 30 prospect in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, has already taken an official visit to Oklahoma. It supposedly went incredibly well in Norman and the Sooners are definitely in the mix as his recruitment continues.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound prospect plans to visit Michigan next week when it hosts Penn State. He's called Michigan his "dream school." The Orange Lutheran standout will visit Oregon late in October for the weekend when the Ducks host Stanford.
Dates for official visits to Florida and UCLA have not been determined yet.
