It has been a very active June for USC. The Trojans just landed their fifth commitment of the month in Rivals250 running back Mychale Salahuddin out of Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I feel like this is the best move for me right now," Salahuddin said. "The football aspect will take care of itself and the social and academic aspects at USC are mind blowing. I have to take advantage of it.

"I have very strong relationships with all the coaches," he said. "Coach (Deland) McCullough was telling me about the family aspect of USC. They have very family atmosphere and I really liked it. I have numerous connections down there that I've built on my recent visits.

"Nothing is set in stone," said Salahuddin. "I'll still be taking visits but I'm taking advantage of the opportunity that's in front of me."

RIVALS' REACTION

Salahuddin is a fantastic running back with a wide range of skills. He has the toughness to pound the ball between the tackles but is still very fast around the edge. Salahuddin is also very good as a receiver out of the backfield and that versatility will add to the firepower USC already has on offense. Temple, Michigan, Maryland, Baylor, North Carolina, Arkansas, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Pittsburgh all made Salahuddin's top 11 at the beginning of the month and he says he will remain in contact with many of them and potentially visit many of them.
