USC commit to take visits

Chris Hawkins committed to USC on April 1 and has been busy competing at numerous national events this off-season.
He's also been taking some time to think about other official visits and the four-star cornerback from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., is now planning to take all five trips.

"Chris will be taking all five visits," said his father, Armond Hawkins, in a text message late Thursday.
Hawkins will be visiting Oregon, Washington, Notre Dame, USC and Alabama according to his father. He's still committed to the Trojans but wants to take other trips.
During the spring, the four-star prospect was close to picking Stanford until a late offer came from USC and he decided it was the perfect fit for him.
He has given no real sign that he was rethinking his commitment but might just want to take some visits to see what else is available at other programs.
Hawkins, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect, has been outstanding at numerous events this off-season. He has looked good at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge, the B2G Elite Camp and at The Opening this past weekend.
Rivals.com rates him as the seventh-best cornerback and No. 78 overall prospect in the 2013 class. He's No. 10 in the California state rankings.
USC has been on a rampage so far this recruiting cycle with commitments from three five-star prospects and 11 four-star recruits.
