Urban holds three offers

Defensive end Tyler Urban out of North Hunington (Pa.) Norwin already has three offers in hand. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder is compiling plenty of interest and has even named a favorite.
"I have offers right now from Miami (Ohio), Akron and Toledo," he said. "I just got the official one from Toledo today and the others came at the end of March. Right now I'm keeping my options open since there's a lot of time.

"I am getting interest from other schools including Indiana, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Duke, Yale and Princeton."
In recent weeks Urban made visits to Indiana, West Virginia and Pittsburgh. Did any of the schools impress him?
"I liked the big-time football at all of those schools," he said. "Indiana's facilities were nice and West Virginia's got a good winning tradition. I really think Indiana impressed me the most because the coaches were looking for me when I arrived."
One school the Keystone State prospect hopes to hear from is his childhood favorite Michigan.
"I grew up a fan of Michigan," he said. "If they came in that would probably affect me. I've always liked them since I was younger because a couple kids from Western Pennsylvania went there and it's carried over for me."
Urban went on to discuss a few things he wants in his future home.
"The location and then the academics and athletics are important," he said. "I'd say I don't want to be too far from home. I also want to go into some type of engineering and I'll probably search for that first to make sure the school has it."
While playing fullback and linebacker last year, Urban registered 500 yards rushing, 70 tackles and seven sacks on his way to first team all-conference honors.
