“I was ready to do it but they told me my offer was kind of on hold,” Brown said. “I was their No. 3 guy and they were only taking two safeties. Arizona and Arizona State were both recruiting me hard too but no one was as consistent as UNLV. They were one of my first offers and stayed on me throughout the whole recruiting process.
“I had a good time on my trip and felt really comfortable there. What kind of sealed for me was talking with their DB coach earlier in the week. I know I’ll have a better opportunity to play early at UNLV than any other school and it’s always good to go where you really feel wanted and that’s how UNLV made me feel.”
