UNLV Lands SoCal Linebacker

UNLV has a commitment from one of the top linebackers in the West as Beau Bell, a 6-1, 210 pound ‘backer from Tustin (Calif.) has committed to the Rebels. Bell took visits to UNLV, San Diego State and Arizona State before making his decision.
“I just felt most comfortable at UNLV,” Bell said. “I like the coaches a lot, the campus and facilities are nice and I think the program is going in the right direction. Plus I think the depth chart is good for me in terms of being able to come in and play right away and that was something I was looking for.”
Bell is a two All-County selection and was also named his League’s Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. The rangy linebacker has good speed, is a sure tackler and makes plays from sideline to sideline. He’s also very good in pass coverage and project well as a weak-side ‘backer for the Rebels.
